Excursions: Evening excursions in Vilnius
9th of March (16-20 pm.) Evening excursion No. 2 "Beer tourism"
I would prefer if beer would do the talking. Any way I’ll try to give You a short description of our excursion. In given time (4 hours) we’ll visit three places that, serves Lithuanian beer You’ll never find in any other country. Our first stop will be at the bar owned by really charismatic person. Just look at him:

This guy really knows what he’s serving. That is eleven kinds of Lithuanian beer (two of them dark). Of course we’ll taste some snacks to the beer too. |
After having our first impression about what we just drank we’ll move on to another good spot. We’ll have around twenty minutes walk. You’ll have plenty of time to see some of Vilnius old town and share Your feelings about having another beer.

Second place we’ll be visiting is, as the owners call it, “Place where beer lives”. It’s mini brewery - pub „Būsi Trečias“. They offer their own beer (light lager and black beer), which is brewed in the basement, just under the bar so beer goes straight from the barrel to the glass. |
After spending some time in this pub we’re going to move on to our last (but not least) destination point.

The place called ‘’Alaus namai” (‘’Beer house”). They can offer you twelve kinds of draught Lithuanian beer and 60/80 kinds of bottled beer. And of course one of the greatest discoveries of Lithuanian beer industry in last decade (my personal opinion) “Varniukų“ beer. |
